Emily Lin, age 20, began her musical career as both a violinist and pianist, winning first place in many competitions, including the NCFMC Competition, the Young Artist Piano Auditions, the CAPTA Sonatina Competition, and the MANC String Competition. She currently studies violin performance at East Carolina University under Hye-Jin Kim and Ara Gregorian. She has attended the Aspen Music Festival, Madeline Island Chamber Music Institute, and Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival’s Next Generation initiative. In her free time, Emily enjoys rock climbing and spending time with her dogs.
