Application Recording Requirements

To be considered, applicants must submit a video recording of a movement of a Bach Cello Suite and a work of their choice. A minimum of 10 minutes is required. In consideration of social distancing requirements, piano accompaniment is not required.

Application Deadline

The deadline to apply is July 10, 2020. Applications will be reviewed beginning June 30. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Application fee

$50 USD

Tuition

$1,000 USD including the Vivac-e Audio Kit, which includes a high-level external USB microphone, which participants keep following the festival.

Eligibility

Participants aged 13 and older are eligible and encouraged to apply. Exceptionally talented applicants under the age of 13 may apply, but additional screening requirements will be requested.

Time Zone

The festival is based on eastern standard time (US). Events will take place between 10:00am and 10:00pm daily. Those in other time zones are encouraged to participate, but please note the time challenges.

VIVAC-E AUDIO KIT

One of the major challenges of online music study is creating a great sound. Vivac-e is committed to helping each participant reach their ideal sound through providing an audio kit, which includes an external microphone and other equipment. In addition to receiving the Vivac-e Audio Kit, the festival’s audio engineers will consult with each participant in advance of the festival to help them create their best sound and the most ideal learning environment.  Participants will keep their equipment after the festival.
