Jeong Yun, a native of South Korea, is currently pursuing her doctorate at Florida State University in piano performance. She made her orchestral debut with the Solist Volgograd Orchestra and won first prize at the Ars Nova International Music Competition. As a soloist and a chamber musician, she has been featured internationally in South Korea, France and the United States. Jeong has appeared at festivals such as the Courchevel MusicAlp Festival, the J&R Music Academy and the International Hobson Piano Festival, and made her concert debut at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in 2013. She was named a semifinalist at the International Odyssiad Competition in 2017 and 2019, and has had the privilege to study with Ian Hobson, Arthur Greene, Vadim Monastyrsky and Jung Eun Kim.
