Kelsey Lee, 19, is originally from New Jersey and is now a rising sophomore at the Eastman School of Music, where she studies with Marina Lomazov. She has won numerous awards in competitions, including first prize at the Marian Garcia International Piano Competition in the Pre-collegiate Division (2017), Steinway and Sons Piano Competition (Paramus), and the Greater Princeton Steinway Society Classical Competition. She achieved the Grand prize in the National League of Performing Arts Young Virtuosi Competition and multiple awards from the NJMTA Young Musicians Competition. Kelsey is also a recipient of multiple scholarship awards, including the NJMTA High School Music Scholarship, MEA-NJ Mary Jean Nelson Scholarship and the National Merit Foundation Scholarship. Aside from piano, Kelsey is an accomplished oboist and enjoys painting and drawing. She also studies optics at the University of Rochester.
