Theron Masters, 22, recently graduated from the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance with a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance, where he studied with Arthur Greene. Theron has performed with the Shepherd University Orchestra and Cherubini Symphony Orchestra, and received first prize in the MSMTA Concerto Competition and second prize in the Protsman Classical Competition. Theron has performed at several international festivals over the past few years, including Music Fest Perugia in Italy, Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy, Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Piano Program, Indiana University Piano Academy, and International Institute for Young Musicians. Theron has performed in masterclasses for Martin Katz, Lang Lang, John O’Conor, Leon Fleisher, Karen Shaw and other prominent pianists.
