Ethan Lin started playing piano at the age of five under the tutelage of Rose Chen and is now a current sophomore at Saratoga High School. He has been an active member of C’est Bon Chamber Music Academy and performed in numerous masterclasses. Ethan won first place in the Encore Piano Solo Competition, second place for best Brahms performance in the International Great Composers Competition, third place for best Prokofiev Performance and he has performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall as a recipient of the third prize award in the American Protégé International Piano Competition. Ethan has also given back to the community through partnership with the non-profit organization Music for Minors, to create a Gift of Music recital. Besides playing music, he enjoys playing volleyball and loves to write.
