Clara Gabrielle Haslop, 17, is currently studying under Rufus Choi. She will attend the Manhattan School of Music in the fall of 2020 and study under Jeffery Cohen. Clara has performed with the Los Angeles Doctors Symphony, the Kostroma Symphony in Russia, Thousand Oaks Philharmonic Orchestra in LA and the Virtuosi Brunensis Orchestra in Italy. She has won the Robert Turner Piano Concerto Competition, the International Youth Piano Competition, the American Protégé International Piano Competition, numerous California statewide competitions that encompass CAPMT (concerto and solo), Kathryn Gawartin Chopin Competition, MTAC Solo Honors Division and the AFAF International Concerto Competition. Clara has attended Music Fest Perugia in Italy, the John Perry International Piano Academy, the International Philadelphia Young Pianists Academy, Aloha International Piano Festival and the Colburn Young Artists Summer Academy.
