Natalie Zhang, 15, started her piano studies at age 4 and is currently under the tutelage of Michael Lewin. Since her solo debut at Carnegie Hall at age 6, Natalie has performed at venues such as Boston Symphony Hall, Seattle Symphony Hall, Merkin Hall, Pepsico Hall, Fort Worth Modern Art Museum and Hawaii Emanali Theater. Her orchestra debut was with the Virtuosi Brunensis Orchestra in Italy at age 12. She has won first prize at the Hartford Chopin International Competition, Seattle International Piano Competition, Steinway Young Artists Competition, American Protege International Competition, the MTNA Senior Piano Competition of Massachusetts and was also an Eastern division finalist. Other achievements include winning the high school achievement award by the Harvard Music Association and the Leonard Wood Concerto Competition of the Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra. Natalie has attended festivals such as the Cleveland International Piano Competition Preparatory Camp, PianoTexas and Music Fest Perugia.
