Playing with Others: Chamber Music and the Piano
Maria Lambros (former violist of the Mendelssohn, Meliora and Ridge string quartets) and Micheal Kannen (founding cellist of the Brentano String Quartet and director of chamber music at the Peabody Conservatory) will lead this collaborative discussion on what makes a pianist a great chamber musician.
They will draw on performances and recordings by Leon Fleisher, Mitsuko Uchida, Rudolf Firkusny, etc. and give us their secrets!
