Zhen Calvin Huang, 25, is from New York and is currently attending the Manhattan School of Music, where he studies with Patinka Kopec. He attended the Heifetz International Music Institute in 2019 and participated in the Young Artist Program, where he was able to study with Pinchas Zukerman. He took part in the viola festival Viva La Viola held by Shanghai Conservatory and the Shanghai Broadcast Music Concert. Zhen performed in masterclasses for Pinchas Zukerman, Lawrence Dutton, Nobuko Iami, Kim Kashkashian, Mai Motobuchi, and Hongmei Xiao.
