Anna Sykes, age 20, is a violin performance major at East Carolina University, where she studies with Ara Gregorian and Hye-Jin Kim. In 2018, she won the Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition and the in 2019, the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Anna attended various music festivals such as ECU’s Summer Chamber Music Institute, NC Governor’s School West, Eastern Music Festival, and the Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival. In her free time, she enjoys reading or rock climbing with her sister and friends.
