Audrey Wang, age 17, is a senior at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix. She currently studies violin with Dr. Katherine McLin and viola with Ms. Nokuthula Ngwenyama. Audrey won several top prizes from National YoungArts Competition, Music Teachers National Association Competition, Arizona String Teachers Association State Solo Competition, Phoenix Youth Symphony Young Musicians Competition, Arizona Music Festival, and the Four Seasons Orchestra Competition. She attended the Red Rocks Music Festival, the Aspen Music Festival, the Académie Internationale D’Eté de Nice in France, Arizona Music Festival, and the Fresno Summer Orchestra & Opera Academy (FOOSA) Festival. Audrey was a member of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and North Valley Symphony. In her free time she enjoys drawing, reading, baking, and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, swimming, and skiing.
