Joshua Thaver, age 23, began formal music training at age ten on viola. He attended Baylor University for his bachelors in music education. In the fall, he will begin his masters in viola performance at the University of Michigan under Caroline Coade. Joshua has attended the Aspen Music Festival, Round Top Festival Institute, Texas Music Festival, and Brevard Music Festival. He performed in masterclasses for Helen Callus, Jeffery Irvine, Kathryn Plummer, and James Dunham.
