Nicole Yun is a 17-year-old violinist and a Junior at Dublin High School. Currently, she is a student of Ian Swensen at San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division and Eric Chin of the Telegraph Quartet. This year, Nicole won first prize and the DVC Philharmonic Award at the DVC/HNU Young Artist String Competition and will perform with the Diablo Valley College Philharmonic Orchestra. She is a prize winner from multiple competitions such as the American Protégé International Concerto Competition, Vineyard Music Competition, United States International Music Competition, United States Open Music Competition, VOCE State Finals Competition, Coltman Chamber Music Competition, Korean-American Music Supporters Association Competition, Korea Times competitions, and Fremont Symphony Orchestra Young Recitalist Competition. Nicole participated in various summer music festivals including Bowdoin International Music Festival and Orford Music Festival.
