Daniel Dorsey, age 17, is from Cincinnati, Ohio, is currently a senior at St. Xavier High School, and studies with Sarah Kim. He was the winner of the David Pierson Concerto Competition where he made his solo debut with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in 2019. Daniel attended the Sphinx Performance Academy, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, and Bowdoin International Music Festival. He performed in numerous masterclasses with renowned cellists including Allan Harris, Hans Jørgen Jensen, and Brannon Cho.
