Lila Holyoke is a 16-year-old cellist at the Juilliard Pre-College Program under the instruction of Natasha Brofsky. She won first prize in the Inter School Orchestra’s Concerto Competition, became the youngest player to join the New York Youth Symphony, and premiered Augusta Read Thomas’ Rainbow Bridge to Paradise. Her trio, Trilogy, performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the Dimenna Center, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the National Arts Club, and Symphony Space. She attended Kinhaven and Greenwood music festivals, and played in masterclasses for Orli Shaham, Daniel Phillips, Gregory Beaver, Ani Kavafian, Wolfram Koessel, Astrid Schween, Mary Peckham, and the Cavani Quartet.
