Hamzah Zaidi, age 21, is in his third year at the Royal Academy of Music studying cello with Felix Schmidt. He performed Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C at the 2017 Velenje Festival. Hamzah appeared at the BBC Proms in Royal Albert Hall and on BBC Radio 3, and attended the Berlioz Festival in 2017. Hamzah plays on a Forster cello generously on loan from the Royal Academy of Music collection.
