Adithya Muralidharan is a 22-year-old cellist from Apex, North Carolina, and holds a Bachelor of Music in cello performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the tutelage of Brooks Whitehouse. This coming fall, he will be pursuing his Master of Music at the New England Conservatory of Music. He won prizes in the MTNA Competition, Euterpe Music Festival, The Music Academy of North Carolina Competition, and North Carolina Symphony Youth Concerto Competition. Adithya won the first prize in Prague Summer Nights Festival Concerto Competition and performed in masterclasses for Paul Watkins, Paul Neubauer, Violaine Melançon, Matt Haimovitz, Zuill Bailey, Natasha Brosfky, Tamas Varga, and Julian Schwartz.
